ImageRight - Correcting ImageRight Connect Errors

This document lists a work-around solution to several versions of the "ImageRight Connect is not running" error.
Symptoms
ImageRight Connect issues can appear in several ways, but most can be resolved using the same "trick". Below are some of the error messages you might see:
"Another instance of IR Connect with different credentials is already running."

"ImageRight Connect is not Launched"

"Please check that ImageRight Connect is running."

Solution
To resolve these errors, we need to restart the ImageRight Connect service.

Expand the Hidden Icons icon in the taskbar (lower right) and look for the ImageRight Connect icon (circled in red below)

Right-click the ImageRight Connect icon and choose "Exit"

- If ImageRight Connect was running, it's not now. The icon will disappear from the Hidden Icons menu.

In ImageRight, click the Import tab at the bottom of the left menu

You will see a message highlighted in yellow about being unable to sync. There is a hyperlink at the bottom of the message. Click the hyperlink to "Launch ImageRight Connect"

- The message will disappear and ImageRight Connect will now appear again within the Hidden Icons menu.
- You should now be able to import items into ImageRight.
